    BEST OF 2017

2017 has come to an end so I thought I would do a little recap of this past year and share my favourite moments . 2017 has been a year of changes and learning. A lot has changed over the year and it has taught me a lot. I learnt how to accept the things we can’t change and can’t get back. I’ve learnt how to deal with a loss of one of the closest people. I’ve learnt so much about the universe, the energy we put in and manifestation. One of the most important lessons of 2017 was the fact that you can never run away. THE ONLY WAY…

    USA Diaries: Savannah

The past two months have been rather hectic, I was (pre)occupied with work at uni and a few other things I am working on. And right in the middle of that, “no travelling for too long” crisis began. When I managed to do everything I had planned in those two months, the “no travelling crisis” lost it’s grip. Probably because I’ve done everything I planned successfully and I won’t have to deal with it later – that means we’ll have more time to explore new places (instead of doing things that should be done already). Sometimes I forget this is a blog I’m writing, not my diary so let’s get to…

USA Diaries: Planet of the New Orleans

We visited New Orleans for the first time in 2009, but managed to stay there for only one full day. We loved it but we were not able to stay there any longer. That’s why this time we wanted to see it properly and decided to stay for three nights.By this time we’ve been travelling for a week and it felt good knowing you’ll be sleeping in the same bed three times. Driving to the centre of New Orleans is a bit suicidal and nerve wrecking gesture and that’s why we took a cab. It’s faster, not expensive at all and most important you avoid everything that searching for a…

USA diaries: A Glimpse of Reality in Southern States and a little Announcement

It’s always nice to see photos of beautiful, picturesque, stunning places. People see what you want them to see and posting pictures only of places worth taking them is a bit of mislead. At least I think so. Everyone has it’s own style of showing their travels to the world and that’s fine, but I’ve decided to include a post of less beautiful places or how should I say it haha. Don’t get me wrong, I loved every minute of it, it’s just not everyone’s cup of tea. But spending a few days driving through that kind of places was the only way to get from one beautiful place to antoher.…

    Chicago part II

So here’s the thing about Chicago: Despite the fact that it is just a city, it is one of the most diverse cities in the US. We spent  whole week in Chicago and there were still things to do and spots to see. For me visiting a city usually means staying there around 2-5 days (depends), and at the end of my visit I feel like I’ve seen the majority of it’s attributes (of course you never see EVERYTHING, but I think you get the point). But we spent there 8 days straight and I swear – it still wasn’t enough (at least for me haha). My favourite part of Chicago was…
