AROUND SLOVENIA: ŠUNIKOV VODNI GAJ
In the beginning of the August we spent a week in Posočje, exploring a part of Slovenia we rarely visit. One day we visited beautiful nature park called Šunkov vodni gaj with numerous waterfalls and pools. None of us have been there before and looking back we are asking ourselves how so, because it really blew our minds. You reach the natural park driving through the Lepena valley. That’s my excuse for being absent here, whether you like it or not. But more importantly I am back and ready to share some new adventures with you (and some old ones – I know I still owe you a bunch of posts and photos from Azores and they are coming!) So as I said…

MADEIRA: VISITING BOTANICAL GARDENS
In my previous post I’ve promised my next one will be about our hike to the highest peak of Madeira, but it’s been a busy week so I am coming to you with a bit less time consuming post. I want to have more time for the post about the hike, I don’t want it to be rushed. To continue the “Madeira series”, one day we’ve visited botanical gardens situated in Funchal, the capital of Madeira. The weather was cloudy, which was perfect for a bit more laid back day. If you follow my blog for some time you might know, regarding to a place we are visiting, we always…
