    SORRENTO: “DO AS ITALIANS DO”

It took half a day for us to  pass over to a completely different state of mind – “Italian state of mind”. You can imagine this was not a hard thing to do when being surrounded by beautiful landscape, amazing food, tasty wine and italian language. We enjoyed every bite of this “italian paradise” and took it slowly. Looking back I am really glad we took enough time for everything we did, there was no rush and no “I want to see too much in one day” attitude. We took our time to eat, to actually enjoy the food, took time to explore the coast and most importantly – took time…

    WELCOME TO AMALFI COAST

After a long drive we passed by the capital of Italy – Rome and an hour later we finally glanced a huge mountain rising in the distance. We immediately knew it was mount Vesuvius, which is actually a volcano. It felt just as the mountain was welcoming us and telling us that our final destination – Amalfi coast in near. The atmosphere changed from empty endless motorways through hot and barren Italian landscape…

Our next move was to go to one of the local grocery shops to buy ourselves a decent breakfast.  Just as…

A VALENTINE’S TRIP TO ROME: WHAT TO SEE IN ROME PART 1

Booking this trip looked something like this : having coffee with my friend Katarina, as she randomly scrolled through her phone and saw some cheap flights to Rome. The next thing I know we were all enthusiastic about taking our boyfriends to Rome for Valentine’s day. And half a day later it became official : tickets were booked and we were going to Rome, on a double date haha! To be honest it wasn’t even the whole V-day thing because we never really celebrate it, but by coincidence tickets to Rome were really cheap on those dates. Moreover it sounded really good, when someone asked me what our plans for…

    WINTER WONDERLAND IN SLOVENIA

This winter had been amazing regarding to the time we got to spend in the snow. We are lucky enough to live nearby mountains and during the winter there is constantly some snow  (well, most of the time). So in tribute to this year’s numerous  trips to the snowy woods, I thought I would collect some of the captured “moments of joy” and share them with you.                                           As you may notice I’ve been trying out some new editing presets on pictures, so let me know which ones you like…
