WHAT TRAVEL HAS TAUGHT ME SO FAR? (PART 2)

I know this post should be up much sooner, but for the past few weeks I’ve been struggling to do everything before leaving on our next trip. And yet I haven’t been as efficient as I would like, because here I am, half a day before leaving and still working on a few things, instead of packing. Plus I still somehow found time to write this post haha. Continuing the “first part” here is the second part of the things I’ve learned during my years of traveling. Enjoy! 13. One, for me very important is – try to make the best of the situation. If something unexpected happens, be resourcefull…

    USA DIARIES: THANKSGIVING IN TENNESSEE

Travelling from Miami to Tennessee was rather hectic. Despite the fact that the flight took less than 2 hours, I was as exhausted as it would lasted at least 7 hours. We had to get up really early, at around 5am to catch the flight. It was around Thanksgiving time so you can imagine the lines at the airport were long. TENERIFE: MASCA

I think it’s the last time I continue with my Tenerife series, it’s been 3 months since our trip and I still haven’t shared with you the majority of the photos and stories. Good job, Maja! One of the “must see” places in island of Tenerife is definitely a small village in the middle of cliffs and hills – called Masca. As soon as you get there you are good, the toughest part of the visit is the process of getting there. Roads are very narrow (hardly wide enough for two cars to meet) and fun fact – there are also buses that drive to Masca. If you are “lucky”…

    POSITANO AND AMALFI

We followed the road that lead us from Sorrento, along Amalfi coast. The road is very scenic, you get to see some amazing cliffs, but it’s pretty difficult to drive as well. Keep in mind that roads are narrow, very winding and there is a lot of traffic going on. You can either curse the road, or you can take it as a part of the adventure and enjoy the ride. After an hour of cliffs and amazing views, we arrived to the most popular town of Amalfi coast – Positano. Positano is a very unique old town, that is situated in a steep coast. Because of the cliffs and it’s…
