TENERIFE: MASCA
I think it’s the last time I continue with my Tenerife series, it’s been 3 months since our trip and I still haven’t shared with you the majority of the photos and stories. Good job, Maja! One of the “must see” places in island of Tenerife is definitely a small village in the middle of cliffs and hills – called Masca. As soon as you get there you are good, the toughest part of the visit is the process of getting there. ON THE HIGHEST PEAK OF SPAIN – EL TEIDE 3718M (AND GETTING MOUNTAIN SICKNESS)
El Teide (3718m) is a volcano and the highest mountain of Spain at the same time and going to the top was one of our main goals of this trip. We drove all the way from the sea level to the big plateau with the elevation of 2500m in less than an hour. TENERIFE BEACH LIFE
Ever since we’ve first traveled to Tenerife in September 2014, we wanted to go back. There was something about that island dragging us to explore it again, so this May we finally got to do it. As soon as we found some reasonably priced tickets, we booked them. The price of the ticket and our accommodation was great, plus it was in the middle of May which meant we’ve avoided high tourist season – so it was a double “yes”!
