    CAMPING IN KAMENJAK AND POREČ

In the beginning of August we took a  few days off and went on camping trip to the Istria – Croatia. We spent 3 days in Kamenjak and then 3 days in Poreč. As you may assume this was  another very last-minute decision. Going to Croatia in a high tourist season could mean the only affordable form of accommodation was our own tent. This camping trip turned out really great, despite the fact everything was packed with tourists. A DAY IN OPATIJA

It’s been a minute since my last post, but since it is summer and many of you are on vacation, I figured why not have a mini break from the blog myself? As soon as we found some reasonably priced tickets, we booked them. The price of the ticket and our accommodation was great, plus it was in the middle of May which meant we’ve avoided high tourist season – so it was a double “yes”! Flying over the island of Tenerife made me quite emotional, that is always the thing with me – returning back to a place I love, fills me up with a…

    WELCOME TO AMALFI COAST

After a long drive we passed by the capital of Italy – Rome and an hour later we finally glanced a huge mountain rising in the distance. We immediately knew it was mount Vesuvius, which is actually a volcano. It felt just as the mountain was welcoming us and telling us that our final destination – Amalfi coast in near. Vesuvius is really majestic and sublime. It is standing proudly, watching over the city of Naples and Amalfi coast. As soon as we left Naples behind and entered the Amalfi peninsula,we actually entered a completely different world. The atmosphere changed from empty endless motorways through hot and barren Italian landscape…
