    DOLOMITES: LAGO DI BRAIES

Last week we made a road trip through Italian Dolomites, Lake Como, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and through Austria returned back to Slovenia. And how we got the idea to make road trip through those places? Well, we both wanted to visit Dolomites, I wanted to go to Lake Como for a few years now and he’s already been to Switzerland but wanted to take me there as well. That’s basically how our road trip itinerary was made. On the day of our departure, the weather was really bad. It was raining at home, as we packed our car and let me tell you the whole thing was far from being motivating.…

EASTER TRIP TO SAVICA WATERFALL AND LAKE BOHINJ

Every Slovene has probably visited Bohinj at least once in their lifetime, if not many times. Since not all my readers are Slovene, I have decided to share some photos from our recent trip to Bohinj with you anyway. I guess this post will be far more interesting for my foreign audience. BEST OF 2017

2017 has come to an end so I thought I would do a little recap of this past year and share my favourite moments . 2017 has been a year of changes and learning. This time I can openly say I was inactive not because of work, but because fot the past two months I’ve been having the  time of my life. I was travelling a ton. I flew to USA at the end of September, then spent a week in a cabin in Pokljuka and at the end of October I took a trip to Belgium. Oh and meanwhile, I went back to uni. So…

    NASSFELD

It was a weekend after I have finished all exams at uni and nothing felt better than starting my summer vacation with another daily trip.  We’ve been on many roadtrips lately, so we considered we want this one to be a bit different. We spiced up our trip by driving from home not knowing our destination. Our motto of the day was called “Go wherever the road takes you”. And so the road lead us towards Italy. After stopping for a coffee in Tarvisio, we continued with our roadtrip to the “unknown destination”. While driving through a small town called Pontebba, we came across a signpost “Nassfeld”. That caught our eyes…
