THOUGHTS ON 3 YEARS OF BLOGGING

Wow it’s been a while . I haven’t written a blog post for over a month and that wasn’t the plan. But these things happen to bloggers, right? Wait, am I allowed to call myself a blogger already? WordPress has reminded and congradulated (haha) me for my 3rd blog anniversary! Holy shit, time flies! I have posted 81 blog posts, including this one (God knows I have written quite a few more, but never published them). I can say I am not the most consistent hobby blogger in the World, but hey, I am trying. The most important question is whether I still enjoy writing, sharing my thoughts, photos and…

WHAT TRAVEL HAS TAUGHT ME SO FAR? (PART 2)

I know this post should be up much sooner, but for the past few weeks I’ve been struggling to do everything before leaving on our next trip. And yet I haven’t been as efficient as I would like, because here I am, half a day before leaving and still working on a few things, instead of packing. Eventually my list is much longer than I thought it would be, so I am dividing it into two posts – part 1 and 2 (part 2 coming soon). I am also including random photos from my travels, which you will probably recognize. I hope you find this kind…

    USA DIARIES: THANKSGIVING IN TENNESSEE

Travelling from Miami to Tennessee was rather hectic. Despite the fact that the flight took less than 2 hours, I was as exhausted as it would lasted at least 7 hours. We had to get up really early, at around 5am to catch the flight. It was around Thanksgiving time so you can imagine the lines at the airport were long. You know, when some flights are quick and easy and everything goes somoothly and some of them are more exhausting, for different reasons? Well, I’d count this one to the exhausting ones. There was a lot of waiting – our flight was overbooked so we literally had to throw…

    BEST OF 2018

Last year I wrote a post as an overview of the year 2017 ( see the post here: http://best-of-2017) And since so many of you voted on instagram you would like to see that kind of post again this year, I thought why not make this annual tradition. If I had to describe this year in a few words I would probably use the following few: travel, freedom, new opportunities and new friendships. For me this year was a bit different than past few years, since I have finished all my work at uni in early spring, that gave me a freedom to travel more. Finally I was not restricted…
