    ROADTRIPPING THROUGH NORTHERN GERMANY

Well, it’s been a while and I am finally back with a new blog post. This summer has been my busiest so far and I could not find time or motivation to write. Sitting behind computer for so many hours every day work-wise, definitely added to my reluctance to stay there any longer than necessary. That’s my excuse for being absent here, whether you like it or not. But more importantly I am back and ready to share some new adventures with you (and some old ones – I know I still owe you a bunch of posts and photos from Azores and they are coming!) So as I said…

    CHRISTMAS TIME IN VIENNA

Since it has been a while we have travelled together, just the two of us, we decided to end this year with a nice city break, put ourselves in “December” mood, visit Christmas markets and have a good time. As funny as it sounds, we were both a bit sick of planes, airports and everything that comes with it, so we really wanted to go somewhere that is within a driving distance, we decided to visit Vienna, the capital of Austria. Vienna, was our first “December” getaway, 6 years ago and we thought it was time to make some new memories there. We have both been to Vienna a couple…

    SORRENTO: “DO AS ITALIANS DO”

It took half a day for us to  pass over to a completely different state of mind – “Italian state of mind”. You can imagine this was not a hard thing to do when being surrounded by beautiful landscape, amazing food, tasty wine and italian language. We enjoyed every bite of this “italian paradise” and took it slowly. Looking back I am really glad we took enough time for everything we did, there was no rush and no “I want to see too much in one day” attitude. We took our time to eat, to actually enjoy the food, took time to explore the coast and most importantly – took time…

WHAT TO SEE IN ROME PART 2

In continuation of  part 1, here is the part 2 of “What to see in Rome?”. In case you are a new reader , you can read about part 1 here.   I couldn’t say we are a type of travelers who always plan everything out (what to see, where to eat, how to get around). We like to plan our trips roughly, but leave the most of it to momentary inspiration and luck. The next day we convinced ourselves and got up and left the apartment quite early in the morning. Our next move was to go to one of the local grocery shops to buy ourselves a decent breakfast.  Just as…

    PORTO

Just as I dropped the case of eagerly searching for photos from our last stop in Portugal and kind of accepted the fact that it’s gone, I found my other SD card and there it was – the lost footage from Porto. That was my Christmas miracle of 2017 haha! I know blog posts should be a bit more winter themed right now but hey, it’s my blog so I can post whatever I like am I right? Furthermore some of my favourite photos from the entire trip are from Porto, so I thought I would share them with you anyway. As I said before, Porto was our last longer…
