FLORIDA: WHAT TO DO IN MIAMI BEACH & TIPS (PART 1)

“I took a little journey to the unknown and I came back changed, I can feel it in my bones.” How was your trip to Florida? That’s what everyone have been asking me these days. Well, it was AMAZING, DIFFERENT, CHANGING, HOT, HUMID, BEAUTIFUL, FANTASTIC, CHAOTIC, EVEN MORE AMAZING, SOMETIMES CHALLENGING experience. CAMPING IN KAMENJAK AND POREČ

In the beginning of August we took a  few days off and went on camping trip to the Istria – Croatia. We spent 3 days in Kamenjak and then 3 days in Poreč. As you may assume this was  another very last-minute decision. Going to Croatia in a high tourist season could mean the only affordable form of accommodation was our own tent. Flying over the island of Tenerife made me quite emotional, that is always the thing with me – returning back to a place I love, fills me up with a…

BEACHES OF PORTUGAL AND HOW QUICKLY CAN THINGS GO WRONG

One word for all of the beaches in Portugal we’ve visited – AMAZING! I loved them, every single one of them. Beaches were one of my favourite things about our trip to Portugal. As soon as we left Lisbon behind we drove way down to the South and spent a few days on a touristy Southern coast. The following days consisted of : sleeping in, eating good food, driving around in search of some beautiful beaches and enjoying each other’s company. When travelling, we always try to squeeze  in a few “rest” days, between those “go-go-go” days. Spending a few days in Albufeira deffinitely gave us that much needed rest. …
