    BEST OF 2019

Writing and sharing a short recap of the past year has become a tradition, so in this post I am sharing my 2019 top moments. You can check out other “Best of” posts I’ve written here: Best of 2017: https://majalampe.com/2018/01/03/best-of-2017/ Best of 2018: https://majalampe.com/2019/01/02/best-of-2018/ I always try to learn something from the past year and one thing I’ve learned during 2019 was indulgence. I’ve learned to work hard on different things at the same time, I’ve learned how to be efficient. I’ve learned I have much more will power than I thought I do and I’ve learned not to stop after I usually would have. My patience had been tested…

THOUGHTS ON 3 YEARS OF BLOGGING

Wow it’s been a while . I haven’t written a blog post for over a month and that wasn’t the plan. But these things happen to bloggers, right? Wait, am I allowed to call myself a blogger already? WordPress has reminded and congradulated (haha) me for my 3rd blog anniversary! Holy shit, time flies! I know this post should be up much sooner, but for the past few weeks I’ve been struggling to do everything before leaving on our next trip. And yet I haven’t been as efficient as I would like, because here I am, half a day before leaving and still working on a few things, instead of packing. Plus I still somehow found time to write this post haha. Continuing the “first part” here is the second part of the things I’ve learned during my years of traveling. Enjoy! 13. One, for me very important is – try to make the best of the situation. If something unexpected happens, be resourcefull…

    FLORIDA: EVERGLADES WILDLIFE

This was my second time visiting the majestic Everglades National Park. When visiting for the first time with my boyfriend, we took an air boat ride through the swamp. It was one of those small private boats for max 7 people and we had a really great private tour, which turned out to be a much more authentic experience than booking a tour on one of those huge “mass tourism” air boats. We saw quite a few alligators during our ride. It is scary to think that just a few metres away there are deadly alligators, who would tear apart anything that is potential food in just a few seconds.…

    BEST OF 2017

2017 has come to an end so I thought I would do a little recap of this past year and share my favourite moments . 2017 has been a year of changes and learning. A lot has changed over the year and it has taught me a lot. I learnt how to accept the things we can’t change and can’t get back. I’ve learnt how to deal with a loss of one of the closest people. I’ve learnt so much about the universe, the energy we put in and manifestation. One of the most important lessons of 2017 was the fact that you can never run away. THE ONLY WAY…
