I still owe you a few posts from Azores, the trip we did last year, and it’s better late than ever am I right? Today I am making a bit different post, with a bit different theme or aim.
For some of you this post might not be as exciting as other ones, but sometimes I like to switch things around and do something less usual.
Azores are one of our favourite places we’ve been to and most credit goes to it’s amazing nature. We love everything that is green, lakes, mountains, forest, gardens and Sao Miguel island has it all. But it also has a very different face that’s rarely shared. Therefore I am sharing some photos that depict the diferent reality.
I guess you can find those contrasts between beautiful, astonishing or glamurous places on one side and powerty on the other side, more or less everywhere around the World.
I decided not to ramble, the emphasis in this post is on the photos. They are powerful enough to tell their own story. Furthermore I like to leave things open sometimes, for you to make your own opinion on it. Enjoy!
I hope it brought you some different perspective on the island. You can check other blog posts from Azores I made down below:
In my next post I will share some more of the beautiful nature as counterbalance to this post, so stay tuned. Until then, take care!
