A WEEK IN THE MOUNTAINS

Last week we headed on our annual retreat to the mountains, which I look forward to every year. The weather was amazing and that was just a cherry on top! Basically all we did was hike for hours and then eat haha, but it felt so good to let go of everything  and enjoy the nature, mountains, fresh air and each other’s company.

Despite the fact we have been together for a long time, every single experience brings you even closer. Same goes to last week in the mountains. You always find yourself in situations you’ve never been before, and how you work together as a team, bonds you tighter.

He took me places I have never been before and I must admit if he hadn’t pushed me further than I ever would (with too little food in our backpacks for such long hike), there are so many beautiful views I’d miss.

There were so many amazing places I wanted to take pictures of, but we wouldn’t come far if that was the case, so I consciously told myself to stop and only stopped now and then to take a few shots.  On the other hand my boyfriend had much more energy and took almost all pictures during our hikes, so that’s why I am in almost every picture, in case you were wondering haha.

This week in the mountains actually gave us the idea where to travel next. We are heading on a road trip through Dolomites (Italy) in just few days and we have rented the most romantic cabin to sleep in, so I can’t even wait for everything aaaaah!
