I think it’s the last time I continue with my Tenerife series, it’s been 3 months since our trip and I still haven’t shared with you the majority of the photos and stories. Good job, Maja!
One of the “must see” places in island of Tenerife is definitely a small village in the middle of cliffs and hills – called Masca.
As soon as you get there you are good, the toughest part of the visit is the process of getting there. Roads are very narrow (hardly wide enough for two cars to meet) and fun fact – there are also buses that drive to Masca. If you are “lucky” enough you will pass at least one or two of them during your ride to the village, so be prepared for … well how should I put it – very adrenaline ride.
You never know what is waiting for you after another sharp turn, maybe a bus, a car, or nothing. It’s a true lottery, I’m telling you. If you are not quite skilled and cool driver, beware…. ah nevermind! With a little patience and trust into other drivers, you will be fine.
But of course as I always emphasize, it’s all worth it for the sake of amazing views. So don’t let the upper paragraph full you, let alone deter you from visiting Masca.
Just bear with me and my proneness to exaggerate from time to time. I hope at least photos will convince you to visit the village, if you ever find yourself in Tenerife. It’s really unique and beautiful experience!
I have just realized, as I write, I am making a huge detour from what I planned on writing, but to hell with it, I’m kind of digging it.
You have my word, there will be more of useful information and less of my rambling in my next post!
But sometimes it’s fun to write something a bit different, so everything doesn’t sound the same . Again – bear with me, with my writing and my failed attempts to post regularly. As I mentioned in my previous post, the plan is to post once a week (every week with no exception!) – and I will stick to it. Just watch me!
