USA diaries : Miami Beach

Even though we visited United States last september, I thought I would make a post about our trip. Plane tickets were a birthday gift from my better half. He told me he made a reservation almost two months before my birthday and couldn’t wait for my birthday to come. When the day when I turned 22 finally came, he gave me an envelope with plane tickets in it. It was official – we are going to Florida! You can imagine what my reaction was like – emotional rollercoaster.

Florida has been on my bucket list for quite some time. This has been my third time going to United States but I have never been to Florida before.

We spent whole week in Miami beach. If you ever go to Miami, you have to stay in Miami Beach. When you walk out from your hotel you are basically standing on the beach. Miami is a city with a hint of Mexican/Cuban. The majority of the population there speak fluent spanish, but not everyone speak english.

The weather there is tropical – very humid, clear in the morning, a few showers around noon, clear and sunny again in the afternoon. My favourite thing about Miami Beach are endless sandy beaches and warm deep blue ocean. We went for a swim every morning, and every evening. But it’s hard to describe everything in words. You should visit Miami Beach at least once in your lifetime and experience it for yourself.
