Wandering the streets of Trieste

From every now and then I get the urge to be a bit spontaneous. It was a warm sunny  morning and I felt like going on a roadtrip. So we did. We grabed our cameras and drove all the way to the Slovenian coast where we decided we wanted to go a bit further, so we ended up looking for a parking spot in a Italian city Trieste.

The weather was perfect – sunny and warm. We wandered the streets, did a little bit of shopping and of course – grabbed a coffee in a coffee shop located in a  famous Piazza Unita d’Italia.

After a while we found a really nice restaurant and decided to eat there. We went for a typical italian lunch – pizza and wine. The ambient was lovely and the food was rather delicious.

Days like these are the best way to relax, to escape the daily routine and to fill yourselves with energy. As much as I love doing unplanned things, this day was a blast and I swear I’m not the only one who thinks so.
