QUICK & HEALTHY BREAKFAST IDEA: ACAI BOWL
Finally I am back with new recipe for healthy breakfast – the one and only Acai bowl! I’ve had my very first acai bowl in Miami in 2015 and I was hooked ever since. I persume most of you know what acai bowl is, if not – it’s mostly fruit bowl with added acai powder. Acai berries are grape like berries that originate from South America and here dries acai powder is used. I make acai bowl at least 2 times a week, during the summer months. Best thing about it? Well, I can’t possibly choose just one, but in few words: I’t s made in 5 minutes, you don’t…

DIARIES: DEAR 2020
I guess I am writing this a month too late or so, but I really had to enclose all feelings around 2020, gently package them in “2020 box” and think about what to actually write. It’s my annual tradition to write a recap of the past year and share some best memories. This post might be a less of a recap than former posts, and more of a very sincere diary post of how my 2020 was. No, I will not mention Covid too often because I am sure that’s all you are hearing these days and thankfully there are many other things I can remember 2020 for. 2020 started…

DIARY: FALL IN SLOVENIA
Writing a “diary” post after a long time, just to check in a bit, share some photos from this year’s fall, tell you a bit about what’s going on and etc. Why this post is titled “Fall in Slovenia”? Because, it’s the first time in a while we’ve been home all fall. We have always traveled around in the fall, and always missed some of the most beuatiful fall colours, or at least some stages of it. This year we were obviously home all the time and were able to see all the stages of the fall at home. First of all I hope you are all doing well, given…

AZORES: ANOTHER FACE OF SÃO MIGUEL ISLAND
I still owe you a few posts from Azores, the trip we did last year, and it’s better late than ever am I right? Today I am making a bit different post, with a bit different theme or aim. For some of you this post might not be as exciting as other ones, but sometimes I like to switch things around and do something less usual. Azores are one of our favourite places we’ve been to and most credit goes to it’s amazing nature. We love everything that is green, lakes, mountains, forest, gardens and Sao Miguel island has it all. But it also has a very different face that’s…

AROUND SLOVENIA: POSOČJE ROADTRIP
In August we took a week off and decided to make a roadtrip to Posočje. We agreed on staying in Slovenia and not expand our holiday outside the Slovenian bordes. Why? Well, first of all we were both pretty tired and simply weren’t up for a long drive or any big adventure. Second of all we didn’t want to risk any kind of “quarantine surprise” upon our arrival. We definitely could not afford it, workwise. We rarely visit the other side of Slovenian Julian Alps, so we thought it would be a nice change. Even though we didn’t go far and we stayed in Slovenia, we had a fair dose…
